Iguana Island

Little Water Cay, commonly known as Iguana Island, is a protected nature reserve in the Turks and Caicos Islands and home to the endangered Turks and Caicos rock iguana. Located just off the coast of Providenciales, the island was set aside to protect this unique species and its natural habitat. Wooden boardwalks allow visitors to explore the island while preserving the fragile environment. Today, Little Water Cay remains one of the best places in the world to see these prehistoric-looking reptiles living freely in their natural surroundings.
